Another year older...

It's my 42nd birthday today - The answer to the ultimate question of Life, The Universe and Everything :)

As a huge fan of the Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy this birthday holds special significance. I listened to some of the original radio series during my drive to work this morning, and it was still as entertaining as it was the first time I heard it - I can't wait for the drive home where I can listen to some more!

It's getting cold again...

Had to scrape the ice from the car windows this morning - and just to top it all off nicely my office is a little too chilly! The weather forecast says we might get some more snow towards the end of the week - hopefully not as much as we had a couple of weeks ago though as that was a real pain. On the upside, I'm hoping this year we'll get a White Christmas, which is something that's not happened where I live since I was a kid...

Week 2 of the new job is almost complete!

I can't believe that it's almost the end of week 2 in my new job! Where has all the time gone? At least my second week wasn't impacted by the weather, just the usual traffic chaos at times - which can be mitigated by travelling during "less social" hours :)

New job!

Week 1 of my new job has passed, and what a crazy week due to the "adverse weather"...

7+ hour journey home on day 2 then unable to get there on day 4 and 5 due to the snow!

Week 2 seems to have started off better - so far :)
