After our inaugural event in 2011, Wired 2012 returns in October as a two-day conference celebrating the ideas, innovations and people reshaping our world.
We can officially announce that the first round of speakers at Wired 2012 -- organised in association with Telefónica -- will include: Troy Carter, manager of Lady Gaga and Founder and CEO of Atom Factory; David Karp, founder and CEO of Tumblr; Lily Cole, model, actress and sustainability champion; Ajaz Ahmed, founder of digital agency AKQA; digital marketer Stefan Olander, who is responsible for many of Nike's innovative campaigns; Mona Eltahawy, an award-winnign columnist covering Arab and Muslim issues; designer and architect Thomas Heatherwick; former head chef of El Bulli Ferran Adrià; artist Alexa Meade; Cambridge professor of developmental psychopathology Simon Baron-Cohen and Maria Popova, editor of Brain Pickings.
