To coincide with Johannesburg's annual Joy of Jazz festival, an ad agency set up a bunch of musical instruments in a pigeon-populated square and lured the birds to "play" them with their beaks and feet using seeds and popcorn.
A number of different instruments, including a drum kit, a keyboard and a couple of guitars were set up in a square in Johannesburg known as Pigeon Square. These were rigged up with microphones and linked to speakers and recording equipment.
