Penguins are stressed out by people, but research shows that the disturbed birds are getting used to humans.
Researchers compared 15 king penguins who were breeding in areas disturbed daily by humans, with 18 penguins breeding in areas free from human presence. All 33 birds were brooding a chick aged from 2 days to 1 month.
