Austin's Circuit of The Americas passes final FIA inspection

The all-new Circuit of The Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas, venue for November's 2012 Formula 1 United States Grand, has been signed off by F1 racing's governing body, the FIA, after its final scheduled pre-race inspection. Charlie Whiting, FIA Race Director and Safety Delegate, visited the new venue on Tuesday and after a two-hour assessment declared himself happy with the construction progress and the overall quality of the track.
