Practice Two - Vettel dominates day one in Singapore

Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel once again topped the timesheets as Practice Two brought Formula One activity to an end at the Marina Bay Street Circuit on Friday. The reigning world champion ended the hour and a half session 0.311s clear of McLaren's Jenson Button, with Ferrari's Fernando Alonso and Red Bull's Mark Webber on their tails. Vettel lapped his Red Bull in 1m 48.340s, with Button getting closest with 1m 48.651s to Alonso's 1m 48.896s and Webber's 1m 48.964s. McLaren's Lewis Hamilton looked to be Vettel's closest challenger for a long time, but after getting down to 1m 49.086s, which at the time undercut Ferrari's Felipe Massa by a second for fastest time, the Briton focused on long distance runs.
