Samsung has confirmed its flagship Galaxy S3 smartphone will be updated to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, the latest version of the mobile OS, in October.
Speaking to CNET UK, the company suggested that unlocked versions of the S3 will get the update first. Models bought from mobile networks may arrive later, largely due to operators needing to test the operating system for their networks.
