Gutierrez to fill in for unwell Perez in Practice One

Gutierrez to fill in for unwell Perez in Practice One Sauber's reserve driver Esteban Gutierrez will take part in Friday's opening practice session for the Indian Grand Prix at the Buddh International, in place of the unwell Sergio Perez. The team decided it was best to allow Perez more time to recover from his illness ahead of the rest of the race weekend. Twenty one year-old Gutierrez became the Swiss team's reserve driver back in 2011 and has already tested for the team on four occasions. This morning's session will be his first competitive outing for the squad. It's hoped that elder Mexican Perez will be sufficiently recovered to take over the car for this afternoon's second session.
