The five best hacks from Reykjavik Music Hack Day

Music Hack Day

On the weekend of 27 and 28 October, 2012, a horde of hackers barricaded themselves into the University of Reykjavik for Music Hack Day. The results ranged from the sublime to the ridiculous.


Among the creations that came out of the event were a method of musically touring Iceland on horseback, three smartphones duct-taped together to make a digital ukelele, a nifty way of playing back MP3s stored in your Dropbox through Spotify and an infinite remix of Korean hip-hop phenomenon Gangnam Style. And those were just some of our favourites.
