The first attempt at measuring a black hole's mass by looking at the molecules swirling around it has been successfully completed.
A team of astrophysicists led by Timothy Davis measured the mass of a black hole in the NGC4526 galaxy, and found it to be approximately 450 million times more whopping than our Sun. Their result have been published in Nature.
