Google releases data-after-death tool

Inactive Account Manager

The launch of an 'inactive account manager' makes Google the first major company to let you choose what happens to your digital life after you die.


Your email, blog posts, Google+ data, contacts, documents, photos and YouTube videos can all be either sent to one or more loved ones or deleted entirely if your account becomes inactive for a length of time.
