Study: conservatives avoid products labelled environmentally friendly

A study has found that people who are of a more politically conservative nature are likely to be put off buying products if they're marketed as being good for the environment or energy-efficient.


The results indicate that, when it comes to trying to get some people to make environmentally friendly choices, a better tactic could be appealing to them on cost or independence.
