A new update pushed out today means that the 4oD app now supports on-demand catch-up downloads on both Android and iOS devices. Version 3.0 of the app on iOS, and version 2.0 on Android allows you to download 30-day catch-up content to your phone and tablet to then watch offline or abroad.
Similar functionality has been available on the iOS version of the BBC's iPlayer app for a while, but 4oD has leapfrogged the BBC when it comes to making this feature available to its Android users.
