FP1 - Hamilton on top as Button splits Mercedes duo at Monza

Lewis Hamilton made the perfect start to the Formula 1 Gran Premio d'Italia 2014 by going comfortably fastest in the opening practice session at Monza on Friday morning. McLaren's Jenson Button was second quickest, having topped the timesheet before Hamilton's late flyer, with Nico Rosberg in the sister Mercedes third.
