Lewis Hamilton moved Mercedes to the top of the timesheets on Friday night at Marina Bay, edging Ferrari's Fernando Alonso by little more than a tenth of a second. Alonso's team mate Kimi Raikkonen showed strongly with fourth, fractions of a second behind Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo. Lotus's Pastor Maldonado, meanwhile, brought out the red flags when he crashed at Turn 10
