Auto Scaling and Elastic Load Balancing now support ClassicLink, enabling you to launch EC2-Classic instances that are linked to a VPC into an Auto Scaling group. EC2-Classic instances can also be registered with Elastic Load Balancers in the VPC.
You can configure ClassicLink using the AWS Management Console, the AWS Command Line Interface (CLI), AWS Tools for Windows Powershell, or through the AWS SDKs. To learn more about ClassicLink, see the documentation. To learn more about Auto Scaling and Elastic Load Balancing support for ClassicLink, please refer to the Auto Scaling documentation and Elastic Load Balancing documentation, respectively.
