Maldonado quickest for Lotus on first day of second test

Lotus's Pastor Maldonado took advantage of a late soft-tyre run to top an incident-filled first day of testing at Barcelona on Thursday. The Venezuelan clocked a lap of 1m 25.011s with just under an hour of the session remaining to eclipse long-time pacesetter Kimi Raikkonen, who ended just 0.156s back for Ferrari
