AWS Lambda Supports Python, Versioning, Scheduled Jobs, and 5 Minute Functions

You can now develop your AWS Lambda function code using Python. AWS Lambda lets you run code without provisioning and managing servers. You simply upload your Lambda Python code as a ZIP through the AWS CLI or AWS Lambda console and Lambda takes care of everything required to run and scale your code with high availability.
