You can now define stage variables to configure the different deployment stages (e.g., alpha, beta, production) of your API. Stage variables are name-value pairs associated with a specific API deployment stage and act like environment variables for use in your API setup and mapping templates. For example, you can configure an API method in each stage to connect to a different backend endpoint by setting different endpoint values in your stage variables.
