Live UK flood warning map uses Environment Agency data



FloodAlerts

Shoothil, a data visualisation firm based in Shrewsbury, has built a live flood warning map that uses data supplied by the UK Environment Agency.


The Environment Agency has a nationwide network of monitoring stations, that issues flood warnings and alerts. Shoothill's map takes all the alerts from the last 15 minutes and lays them over a Bing map.
