A young programer's account of Rewired State's Festival of Code

Luke Ashford

I've recently discovered that I have a bit of a flair for coding and programming. The endless possibilities and unlimited power to create anything, and make applications work is something that over the last year I have grown to love.

I started by teaching myself the basics in Java and HTML languages and had recently started learning CSharp as well, mostly through useful Youtube tutorials. At school, we covered some of the basics in programming, starting with Scratch in primary school and we also did a little design. However, I have never had the chance to sit in a group with other coding enthusiasts and really put some big ideas into motion.
