Computer game could save lives by training firefighters

A computer game which challenges players to save a town from burning down will be used to train real-life firefighters.

Set in a faithfully recreated digital version of Rochdale, players are able to explore the town as well as control firefighting resources such as fire engines, fire crews and hose jets.
