An Australian audio artist named Lucas Abela has combined a pinball machine with a piano to make a hybrid instrument whose resonating wires replace high score tables.
Pinball Pianola is constructed by placing a pinball cabinet between the keyboard, hammers and front panel of an upright piano and its exposed strings.
