UK to probe Huawei cyber centre amid China espionage concerns



The British government has said it will inspect the operations of a UK-based cybersecurity centre run by Huawei in order to allay fears over security threats.


Following a recommendation by parliament's intelligence and security committee in June, the government has decided that it will conduct a review of the site in Oxfordshire, where Huawei employees check equipment for vulnerabilities before it's connected to national telecoms infrastructure.
