Version 3 of the AWS SDK for PHP is now generally available. Since launching the developer preview in October, we have added new features and architecture improvements, while maintaining much of the coding pattern with which users of the Version 2 are already familiar. Key features of the new version include:
- Asynchronous requests using promises
- Streamlined extensible architecture using handlers and middlewares
- Result querying and filtering using JMESPath
- Command pool for orchestrating concurrent execution of multiple commands
As always, you can find us on GitHub, and we would love to hear your feedback and answer questions on the Issues page.
